Why can’t I find my businesses under a certain service or industry category?
Your business is categorized under a NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code that you chose when applying for a San Diego business license. If you cannot find your business under a category that you believe best describes it, you may have an incorrect NAICS code assigned to that business. To fix this problem please edit your business profile by entering your San Diego business license number and password in the fields at left then clicking "Login". Change your NAICS Code and any other information you need then click "Submit" to update your profile in the Business Listings section of SDBizGuide.com.
NOTE: This process does not change the business license records maintained by the City of San Diego. It will only update SDBizGuide.com’s records. When editing your business profile on this website, it is important that you also notify the City of San Diego of the same changes. Otherwise, the information will be changed back to its original state when we receive our monthly update from the City. To make these changes at the City level, you can contact the City of San Diego’s City Treasurer at (619) 615-1500 or btax@sandiego.gov.
